We would like to thank all customers and partners who visited us at our booth! On the 1st and 2nd of March, the twelfth trade fair for geothermal energy took place in Offenburg. At the center of the appearance of the Dürr Cyplan was the ORC technology.

First low-temperature geothermal plant in Lahendong, Indonesia

The first low temperature geothermal plant in Lahendong, Indonesia has successfully entered its test-operation stage. The plant is based on the 500kW ORC module by Dürr Cyplan and is used to generate low temperature electricity. The concept was developed by the German Research Center of Geoscience GFZ and indicates the start for further projects in this area.

Industrial heat recovery promotion by BMWi extended

Since the 1st of September 2017, direct subsidies are feasible for the ORC technology. The KfW Energy Efficiency Programme for Waste Heat (294) supports measures to avoid waste heat or rather use it by providing loans at reduced rates of interest, repayment grants and direct subsidies, financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The ORC technology is also eligible for funding by the Ministry.

Efficient and flexible: biogas plant Jühnde modernizes with ORC

Since March an ORC module completes the biogas plant of the bioenergy village in Jühnde. Under the synonym "Bioenergiedorf Jühnde 2.0" the biogas plant has been modernized, expanded and inaugurated with an open day on June 18.

From Residue to Resource through ORC Technology

New application for ORC in biomass sector

The wood firing system in Ilanz of the Elektrizitätswerk Zurich (ewz), Switzerland was successfully put into operation. The 350 kW ORC system generates electricity and heat by means of residual timber and is an example of the various possibilites for efficient usage of energetic residues through ORC technology.
